The Kitchen Diva! Show Concept
|
|
Book Boosters, Inc. has as part of its mission to educate a diverse
population on healthy living. Through a 30-minute weekly television program featuring
Angela Shelf Medearis, The Kitchen Diva! , Book Boosters, Inc. will introduce the concept
of organic, all-natural eating habits to viewers nationwide.

The Kitchen Diva! television
show was created to teach viewers how to prepare healthy
alternatives with a “Diva-style” twist to traditional
ethnic recipes, comfort foods, and familiar recipes; to
support farmer's markets; to promote the use of organic,
locally grown produce and seasonal cooking; to teach
viewers how to prepare tasty vegetarian meals using
non-meat alternatives; and to encourage them to consider
vegetarian recipes for one or two meals per week.
The
show will encourage viewers to get back into the
kitchen, around the table, and to eat seasonally. Angela
Shelf Medearis is indeed a fresh face and a new and
diverse voice in the culinary and health field. Her
warm, engaging, and zany personality will attract a new
audience to organic, whole foods, vegetarian and ethnic
recipes.

Cook well, eat well, live well… for me, that is not about avoiding certain foods,
it’s actually about adding new foods and products and creating recipes using familiar ingredients
that are healthy, unique and incredibly delicious. There is so much I want to do in life and I need
good health to accomplish my goals.
Being in the kitchen has taught me many life lessons. I’ve learned to
communicate love to my family and friends with great food. And, since I have never had hours
and hours to spend cooking, I’ve learned how to prepare good food fast.
Did I say that I also like to have fun? I never want to feel like doing
something so rewarding as creating a delicious meal for me and my family is a chore – I make
it a fun, appealing, stirring and even ELECTRIFYING experience. I can show you how to be a
Kitchen Diva, too by preparing healthy recipes with sass and soul! The Diva is never dull! Let’s cook.
